I agree with you about birthright citizenship, but that is going to be a darn hard sell - - in some part because while you're entirely correct about the intent of the 14th, the wording itself has got a lot of ambiguity to it as far as exactly who it applies to.
So for the time being, we can leave the birthright citizens alone, and just stop giving these newborn citizens the slightest right to sponsor their non-citizen parents for any kind of admission to the country. And when the parents leave the country, they either take their US citizen offspring with them (who are welcome to return to the country once they are emancipated), or they abandon their US citizen offspring, giving themselves a permanent black mark prohibition against any kind of immigration or visitor visa In the future, on the grounds of being the sort of person who commits child abandonment.
I think there have been plenty of legal scholars and jurists who have proven what the intent of the 14th amendment was and should be, but corporate lobbyists wanting more cheap brown labor have thwarted any attempt to clarify. No one of sound mind believes that the child of illegal aliens, undocumented international travelers or even tourists should be automatically given citizenship, no matter how much social justice leverage is applied to the text, history or tradition.
2. Limit tax deductions for imported labor and outsourcing.
3. No anchor babies.
4. No affirmative action.
5. Clamp down on chain migration.
6. There is no raw talent shortage in the United States. There is a shortage of will on the part of Corporate America to develop talent.
7. Let Corporate America be willing to hire imperfect skill matches which have the raw talent, or pay a premium to find that perfect match abroad.
This whole issue is based on greed. I am no anarchist, and fully believe that capitalism will improve a society, until it is perverted by government and crony capitalism. Those with the bank accounts big enough to sway millionaire politicians know how to play the game, and more importantly, how to change and manipulate the game. Our duty is to throw the flag, stop the play, reset the chains and bench the bad players.
As a Capitalist; H-1B Visas are a form of Corporate Welfare and I am, in principle, against them as much as I am agriculture farms relying on migrants through tax subsidies. If Elon Musk cannot survive his business without those Visas, then he needs to start a University or go out of business.
Affirmative action is indeed overlooked. My Dad once had a coworker at a state university who was an Indian woman. She was in fact quite competent and did some impressive research. However, she was treated like a token minority; people in the administration were like "ooh, a brown woman!" (Pretty soon she got insulted and went elsewhere.) As long as there are points for hiring non-whites, the playing field is not level.

Indeed, a hard sell. An excuse to clamp down on guest workers until the matter is resolved.

4. No affirmative action.
5. Clamp down on chain migration.
6. There is no raw talent shortage in the United States. There is a shortage of will on the part of Corporate America to develop talent.

Compromise is Cucking Out. Why are you cucking out?
