I'm very much appreciating this series. That has been my primary complaint about Republicans for a long time, too much centralization and financialization, and not enough care for the local, the land and waters
Please vote! The think tanks ARE reconfiguring to support the MAGA agenda. A second Trump term would be different -- especially if we take Congress. This is not 2000 where there truly was little difference between the two major party candidates. (Al Gore used to be a conservative Democrat.)
If the stakes weren't so big, I'd say vote RFK Jr. if you prefer. He's the ideal Rule 4 candidate. But splitting the populist vote and letting the current junta have another term could destroy this country.
If we don't take Congress, then we at least get deadlock.
But if we ran enough Green RINOs in certain Blue districts, we could take Congress resoundingly. Even habitual Democrats are becoming tired of the refugee camps and crime.
I see your point but I live in Kalifornistan so I don’t think my presidential vote will matter. If there was a green RINO I’d vote for him or her. Judges, supervisors and school board seats are important on the local level. But I see a bunch of corrupt politicians. Maybe I should just move.
I realize that it's a really tall order, but I'd like to encourage those in Kalifornia to get involved in their local Republican Party and groom some Green RINOs to run in 2026.
