(In the 70s we had rising food prices, gasoline shortages, and air you could see due to the pollution in major cities. He called me one day to discuss the problems with the planning & development authority regarding "the affordable housing" problems. The red tape and costly revised codes and so forth. A massive homeless problem and what-not. Existing neighborhoods that are protesting the idea of it all. They are planning massive affordable housing projects. Except for the fact that the builders can't afford to build them to actually be affordable. The builders are frothing at notion to cash in on the opportunity. And I said - "they should probably start with changing the name to something less affordable"...

I want a billboard in Houston that states: Deport illegal immigrants / Cut your commute by 20 minutes. (The math supports this). But maybe a better message would be “This freeway needs more bad drivers. Import more people. Vote Democrat”
